Hospice Volunteers participate in an intensive training that focuses on Hospice care, issues associated with death and dying and the role of volunteers in hospice.


Beverly Coleman Inpatient RN, is seen in the photo to the left explaining to a training class about the nurses role in the inpatient facility. She also suggest that working with patients or families in the inpatient facility may uplift your life.



The next training class for the Ridgeland area will be September 23rd from 5:30 pm. - 8:30 p.m. Sat. September 24th from 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Sunday September 25th from 1:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Call 601-898-1053, ext. 258 for more information.

Active volunteers come to the class to discuss their experiences with the new trainees. They are asked questions about their adventures and answer what it is like to work with families and patients in many different ways.
