| April 26th marked the 2008 Volunteer Awards for Hospice Ministries. This years awards were hosted by Isabel Cordua. The highligt of the eveining was surprising volunteer Dixie Myrick with the Volulnteer of the Year award. Dixie has worked with inhome & inpatient ; the gardeners; watered and maintained the indoor plants throughout the building; assisted Medical records and worked on several special projects over the year. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Hospice Ministries' Troubadours entertained the gathering with uplifting songs. Troubadours to the left are Barbara Thompson, Lisa Womack, Ellen Ford. Ellie Heitmann, Jolly Sahu, and Wendy Reddick. Another entertainment delight was the enchanting voice of Sarah Thomas Easley, daughter of volunteer Sherry McColgin. |
