Some thirty-five social workers and healthcare colleagues attended the firs t"Faith In Action: A Team Take on the End of Life Journey", held in McComb at the Public Library. The guest were treated to a dynamic program by Donna Evens, LSW, with Hospice Ministries, Ridgeland, who, with her 12 years of stories, insights and experiences, shared her gifts with the attendees. Also on the program was Faith In Action project coordinator, Reverend Richard Brogan, whose wife is the former Catherine Dunn, a Magnolia native. His topic included teaching caregivers on how to minister to the dying. Tony West, RN,BSN, MHS, presented the clinical role of hospice for the home patient as well as the inpatient.
